Palliative/End of Life Care

This program is delivered by AHPRA Registered Nurses.

The program is designed to give support staff the skills and knowledge to provide palliative and end of life care to clients who require it.

Course outcome:

• Follow palliative pathway/care plan as directed by the RN
• Recognise signs of impending death
• Provide comfort cares based on care plan and according to person’s preferences
• Ensure self resilience, insight and judgement
• Appropriate documentation principles

Online theory followed by practical workshops at our Gold Coast Laboratory. Our Clinical Nurse Educators are also able to travel to Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, Redlands, Cairns, Townsville, and anywhere in Queensland.
