For support workers and carers to learn how to assist clients with medications and to assist organisations in meeting Aged Care/DVA and NDIS registration requirements.

CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk
Fully Online! This unit is an approved child protection training course required by government protocol and applies to workers in a range of job roles providing services to children and young people in childcare, education, community services and health contexts – Delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.
Enteral Feeding (PEG/PEJ) Management
Developed for support workers providing assistance to people who have Enteral Feeding needs. On successful completion, students will be able to manage self care activities for people with PEG/PEJs.
This is an online program with Face to Face workshop with a Nurse Educator.
This program is benchmarked to NDIS skill descriptors and meets Audits requirements. In addition, this program is fun and engaging ensuring supports workers are equipped with the skills to provide PEG/PEJ care.
Catheter Insertion for Registered Staff
Are you an enrolled or registered nurse, wanting to learn how to insert an indwelling or suprapubic catheter?
This program has been designed by clinical nurse educators to equip nurses with the skills to provide IDC and SPC insertion and changes according to a clients care plan.
Urinary Catheters
Our program provides staff with the knowledge and skills to replace and dispose of bags and monitoring health of people using indwelling and suprapubic catheters. This is part of a general support worker role.
Learn to change bags, measure and assess, record and report.
Overseen by our Clinical Nurse Educators to meet NDIS skill descriptors.
Positive Behavioural Support Training
This high intensity program is delivered by AHPRA Registered Nurse. Our Mental Health Registered Nurse writes all content and delivers this program. Our Mental Health RN has vast experience in disability, mental health acute care units, mental health crisis centres and as a nurse educator.
Restrictive Practice
This training program is designed to give support staff the tools to follow a positive behaviour support plan (PBSP) and implement restrictive practice. At all times, the PBS practitioner is responsible for the PBSP plan and will have their own strategies for providing these supports.
Complex Bowel Care
This program has been developed by AHPRA registered nurses in order to allow support workers within disabilities services to provide complex bowel care.
This program is benchmarked to the NDIS skill descriptors and Practice Standards. This program has been developed to meet audit requirements.
Available as an online only or online with workshop program.
Administer and monitor medications on manikins, learn the skills to support people with complex bowel needs.
Taught at your location or at our clinical campus, skills laboratory.
Diabetes Management and Subcut Injection
Students will learn about diabetes, how to inject insulin such as using sliding scales and beware of potential complications and the appropriate referral process.
This program is benchmarked against the NDIS skill descriptors and practice standards. Fun and engaging, this program ensures staff members complete the program with the knowledge and foundational skills to support clients according to the NDIS skill descriptors and practice standards.
High Risk Seizure and Midazolam Administration
This program is designed for support staff to be able to provide supports to clients who are at risk of seizures and have an epilepsy management plan insitu.
Staff will learn how to read, interpret and apply epilepsy plans and administer emergency midazolam as required.
This program includes understanding of epilepsy and seizures IN ADDITION to administering emergency midazolam.
Taught by our clinical nurse educators.
11244NAT – Course in Mental Health Support
This course is uniquely tailored to provide comprehensive education on mental health, fostering resilience and offering practical strategies for managing the mental health impacts of crisis response
Taught by our mental health specialists at our clinical campus you will learn how to support people with metal health issues.
Students will undertake online learning followed by a face to face workshop.

Training Room Hire
Utilise our fully equipped training room and clinical skills lab.
Our labs including all clinical equipment, beds and manikins including a procedures lab. We also have a full classroom equipped with chairs, desks, projector and TV, white board and much more.
The clinical campus is overseen by our clinical laboratory assistant who is available during room hire to assist with set up and pack down.
Consumables are available at cost.
Can be hired in half daily and daily blocks!

Designed for support workers, carers, nurses and anyone involved in providing manual handling for workers within health care and disability environments.
Available online and or with workshop. Taught by clinical nurse educators.
